Question mark

(Polygonia interrogationis)

A question mark rests on rattlesnake master in Anderson Prairie.

The question mark gets its name from the tiny mark on the underside of its hind wing. The comma has a similar mark, but lacks the dot to complete the question mark.

Question marks are more often seen in the open, including backyard gardens.

The come from a family called angle wings.
